Responsibilities
- Adherence to Vestas Safety Culture
- Adhere to Vestas values
- On time delivery as per SLA
- Zero Errors and Customer complaints
- Follow agreed NDT Process flow with zero deviation
- Create/Update NC for all deviations, track & close NC as per agreed SLA
- Able to train the Evaluators on new Blade model and get them certified
- Coordinate CIM Case Evaluation
- Coordinate QIP / SIP
- Provide input for PII Revisions
- Technical support to factories on Equipment and production process
- Execute QBD / NPI task
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering in any of the following disciplines – Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production/Industrial
- 5 to 10 years of working in Heavy Engineering industries, Oil & Gas, Wind, Automobile, Aeronautical Industries and CADD services/consultancy
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on work experience in NDT (UT and VT)
- NDT UT Level III certified – ASNT
- Six Sigma certified (preferable) or any relevant Quality certifications
- ISO 9001:2015 certified Auditor (preferable)
Competencies
- Good knowledge on the blades manufacturing process
- Ability to setup & use NDT (UT) equipment’s and relevant analysis software
- Perform Hand & Machine UT scan on Tower sections
- Fluent in English (Oral & Written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting day to day developments
- Ability to work under pressures & get things done with quality
- Ability to lead a team and being a team player
- Possess good analytical skills with the methodological approach
