Job Purpose
The Manager assists the Head of Division to manage his/her team matters and ensures that all matters of client companies are properly handled and ensures excellent service to clients. The Manager engages with external as well as internal clients and is responsible for daily operations and gets involved in business development activities
Job Responsibilities
- This role is for the Internal Finance function of the company.
- Manage & lead the entire gamut of Finance function to ensure proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software
- Enhance and Implement financial and accounting systems, internal controls, processes, tools etc. and train team members.
- Responsible for reviewing monthly invoices and collections of money.
- Closing monthly Revenue with Directors, Month end closing for expenses and accruals and other reporting requirements for the group
- Closing monthly Revenue with Directors, Month end closing for expenses and accruals and other group and adhoc reporting requirements of the group and company
- Preparation of financial statements and leading and closing the timely Statutory audit
- Oversea preparation and timely filling of all statutory returns such as GST, TDS etc.
- Managing and preparation and leading the GST Audit, Tax Audit, Tax Assessments, Transfer pricing
- Ensure all compliances related to Direct and Indirect tax of the company.
- Supporting Financial analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting activities of the company
- Monthly internal reporting and discussions with the Business and other adhoc reportings.
- Managing and driving Intercompany Reconciliations with group
- Manage and Maintain Cashflow.
- Adhoc reporting and data handling
- Serve as the key point of contact for all external auditors, manage, prepare and support the end to end audits
- Analyze organization specific demands and provide solution.
- Supervise and coach team members.
- Allocate engagements to subordinates based on their experience and competence.
- Work with HR on recruitment activities, performance review and employee relations matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned and relevant for the finance function from time to time.
Job Specification
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- A minimum of 6-7 years relevant experience in CA firms or Big 4 or in similar Industry managing the finance function, audits, tax compliances etc.
- Excellent in stake-holder management and interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Accounting, Direct tax and Indirect taxes.
- Good command of written and spoken English
