Job Description for Tesla Careers USA Job 7 Mobile Service Router

Tesla is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires a high-level customer and employee interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service. 

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct customer Phone Calls, Emails, internal communications to address any customer concern with the highest level of response and attention
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience through planning and coordination with peers
  • Work within the Microsoft suite, Tesla programs, and Reporting Metrics to achieve targets daily. 
  • Utilize reporting metrics to guide processes and procedural changes to enhance/improve customer experience 
  • Determine if technical solution can be resolved remotely, over the phone, or requires technician work. 
  • Coordinate scheduling of customers to hour block windows to ensure maximum throughput of mobile service technicians 
  • Plan with service leadership for any PTO, Vehicle downtime/maintenance and adjustment of Vehicles on road to meet/exceed customer demand
  • Coordinate Mobile Technician appointment schedule based on starting location and routing efficiently 
  • Follow up with customer Surveys regarding less than perfect experience.
  • Support Technicians with collecting payment and closing paperwork/invoices for customers 
  • Respond to roadside requests to coordinate the servicing of customer vehicles. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
  • Experience in operational use and maintenance of a wide variety of hand power tools, shop tools, and automotive and electrical test equipment
  • Understanding of basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new and innovative automotive technologies
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work to include the public
  • Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goal
  • Tesla Service Systems, Outlook, Tableau, and MS Office
  • Retail automotive service experience, preferred
  • Able to Travel and train on location for periods of 1 week or more
  • Able to host meetings to train associates, and quarterly goal meetings with projections
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable and safe driving record
  • Must have two years of driving experience
