Job Details

The CSG Regional Vice President (RVP) of Success Cloud Sales should be a proven, passionate, strategic general manager of sales. This individual will lead and drive a regional team of Account Partners (AP), ensuring bookings and high revenue growth for CSG services. The RVP must be a strategic thinker with exceptional strategic, enterprise, commercial, and cross-functional skills, they should demonstrate high energy, and have strong sales management experience. The RVP will also be a valuable contributor to the CSG services sales and product strategies, sharing customer insights and perspectives and aligning with Salesforce corporate objectives. Additionally, this individual should meet with C-level client executives on a regular basis and maintain strong relationships with internal peers in core sales, product, and operations to ensure client needs are being met.The primary measurement of success for this role will be YOY growth in overall services bookings and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed regional growth and bookings targets, ensure organizational health and high customer satisfaction goals as a regional leader
  • Build, grow, lead and manage a team of qualified customer-focused Account partners to create long-lasting customer relationships and deliver customer business value
  • Engage at the C-Level with customers and focus on consultative selling opportunities
  • Build a strong relationship with the License Sales organization and regional Alliances/Partner organizations that are instrumental to success
  • Coach direct reports in sales strategy, pipeline management, opportunity management and career planning/development
  • Help grow and maintain a healthy regional partner ecosystem to drive sales, technology adoption, and successful deployment of Salesforce
  • Mentor and develop the entire services sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training as needed.
  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings and coach direct reports on strategies to drive closings and run the business. Monitor sales activity and track results
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to Senior Sales Management
  • Support other Geo RVPs and APs by participating in and leading new and existing C-level client meetings; engage corporate resources as required to clearly communicate Salesforce’s solutions and generate business value for our customers

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • 7-10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of leading a team in a technology sales environment
  • 2+ years of sales management experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent; MBA is a plus
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company), in a similar enterprise software application firm, selling subscription based products
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain C-level relationships where you are recognized as a trusted advisor
  • Working knowledge and experience of the CRM space
  • Strong, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Highly collaborative and excels in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Strong customer references
