Job Description:
· The Software Engineer in Test I is expected to work in a fast-paced environment as a software engineering scrum team member to understand customer requirements, design, create and automate test cases that adequately exercise each section of code.
· Use approved automation software applications to automate each test case.
· Provide metrics and quality artefacts to meet internal and external quality compliance requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
· Validates assigned software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards while working in the agile team.
· Learns develops, modifies, and executes complete test plans based on design specifications.
· Responsible for one piece of automation code for a feature or module.
· Learning products and design process to execute exploratory testing.
Required Skills:
· Candidate must possess bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
· Should have 0-2+ years of experience working in software quality environments.
· Knowledge in database systems and SQL.
· Knowledge of beginner Java Python programming & Debugging.
