Job Summary
The Red Hat Deal Desk Team is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will help enforce critical partner compliance controls. You will support Sales and Operations and other stakeholders in the vetting and structuring of deals that require additional diligence and commercial language. As a part of the Trust and Compliance program, you’ll serve as a regional subject matter expert on Partner Quote Inspection (PQI) and all things compliance, in conjunction with associates in Sales and Operations teams.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Support regional Deal Desk, Commercial Legal, and Revenue teams in reviewing, updating and inserting localized compliance language into transaction documents
- Validate, and calculate as needed, the approved transaction pricing structure for qualifying quotes within transaction documents
- Use your understanding of PQI to reinforce directly with partners when called on by Sales stakeholders during contract negotiations
- Engage specialized IBM or Red Hat teams for additional details related to compliance, and enforce the defined service level agreement (SLA)
- Work closely with regional Deal Desk, Commercial Legal, Revenue, and Sales leadership to coordinate the exceptions process
- Enforce PQI policies across the region by monitoring real-time reports and directly intercepting quotes that qualify for PQI
- Collaborate with team members and global Sales and Operations stakeholders to guide continual process improvements, sales enablement and other education opportunities
- Ensure forward deal momentum; troubleshoot and escalate to resolve issues quickly
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience, preferably with a technology company, with a background in sales, sales operations, or legal
- Adept at drafting contract language and collaborating with various stakeholders in unique sales scenarios
- Experience working with tools like Salesforce (SFDC) and Apttus
- Outstanding communication skills and excellent presentation skills
- Familiarity with the opportunity-to-cash cycle, including operations, order processing, fulfillment, revenue recognition, legal contracts, etc.
- Organized, detail-oriented, motivated, and persistent; excellent problem-solving skills
- Customer service focus, including the ability to deliver multiple priority projects with high customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under changing conditions and timelines
