What you will do:
- Conduct data exploration exercises to identify actionable insights across the customer journey – Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations
- Conduct data analysis to make business or product recommendations. Develop dashboard for daily, weekly, monthly reporting needs.
- Work closely with Product Managers to generate future-oriented analysis and draw recommendations to influence future roadmap. Contribute to decisions to improve products and services.
- Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
- Develop and automate reports and interactively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs, formulate, and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations.
Experience/Competencies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science or IT-related
- Experience of creating, automating, and publishing dashboards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce and present compelling data visualizations from your findings
- Good data storytelling skills and data visualization using Tableau or a similar tool
- A strong understanding of the principles behind relational databases and related technology
- Experience of applying statistical techniques to recognize trends and correlations in vast sets of data
Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency and Hands-on experience on Tableau Client & Server (at least 4-6 years of experience)
- Should be strong in Data Visualization & Data preparation concepts.
- Strong SQL knowledge must be able to write complex SQL queries as part of the data analysis.
- Performance tuning experience related to Tableau dashboard.
- Should have good knowledge of basic ETL concepts.
- Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing, and data transformation.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) reports & dashboards.
- Helping Tableau Server admins with a solution to rectify any server related issues.
- Understand business needs and help define requirements for reporting solutions
Desirable Knowledge And Skills
- Statistical analysis using Python or R
- Experience use Digital Analytics tools – Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
- Experience in working in the Financial Services Industry
- Experience of working with data and analytics tools in AWS stack
- A sound grasp of statistical concepts, appropriate use, and application of them
- Experienced in using Data Science/ Advanced Analytics Methodologies (Clustering, Predictive Analytics, AI/Machine Learning)
- Experienced in Big Data Solutions e.g. Hadoop, AWS, Microsoft Azure
