We are seeking applications from candidates for an internship in an investment banking role for a 3-month period starting from the 4th of July 2020. Please don’t apply if you are not available on these dates!
The candidate should be self-driven, enthusiastic, and looking to build a career in Corporate Finance, Private Equity, and/or Investment Banking.
Must have – CFA Level 1 qualified candidate with MBA in Finance.
This internship will provide you with an opportunity to develop financial, teamwork and communications skills. You will also get to discover the role best suited for you, and your efforts could even be rewarded with a full-time job offer depending on your performance (not guaranteed).
The role requires following skills:
- Candidate should have strong work ethic, orientation to detail and a passion for excellence
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well at all levels in the organization.
- Candidate must possess good business analysis (Microsoft Excel), communication (written and oral), and presentation (written and oral – Microsoft PowerPoint, KeyNote) skills
- A quick learner with the ability to grasp multiple industries in a short period of time
- Highly enthusiastic and eager to learn
Roles And Responsibilities:
During the internship, you will play an important role in assisting the senior team in developing, building and strengthening current client relationships, participating on the advisory team and structuring and executing cross-border financial transactions (M&A and Private Equity).
The direct roles and responsibilities of an intern are as follows:
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books/information memorandums for sale assignments
- Assist in valuation assignments through the creation of financial models
- Conduct industry research
- Maintaining knowledge and staying abreast of new industry news/trends
