Essential Functions
- Deliver technical direction and solutions consistent with Global IT strategy and direction.
- Manage regional budgets and drive cost savings initiatives of long-term IT support costs, while improving service levels.
- Manage NB region vendors to achieve maximum supplier performance at lowest possible cost point.
- Establish, measure, and improve service performance metrics and maintain IT’s customer engagement and relationships with key internal customers .
- Direct management of all local L3 delivery managers/resources.
- Work directly with other IT delivery managers to ensure EDA delivery charter is being driven.
- Provide onsite leadership, management, and mentorship to all regional IT resources, regardless of reporting structure.
- Regular reporting on site-based activities as determined by IT leaders
- The “face” of IT Leadership in India
- Communication link to keep non-India leadership connected to site activities, programs and initiative.
- Facilitate All Hands, other broad IT communication initiatives
Job Requirements
- Proven leadership experience as IT director or similar role
- Experience managing a large geographically diverse workforce and partners
- Experience with managing and influencing solid and dotted line resources.
- Broad current knowledge of business technology applications, current trends in IT, and experience evaluating/implementing outsourced solutions and service providers.
- Sound understanding of business processes in hi-tech business and the know-how to develop and maximize opportunities for exploiting technology in support of the business.
- Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of reporting systems including and not limited to Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Data Lake, ETL/ELT, Data Quality, Presentation layer
- The ideal candidate will have worked for storage, networking or related hardware company with engineering organizations and will have a track record of handling rapid growth
- Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
- Experience in managing large budgets and tight schedules
- Proven ability to deliver large/complex projects
- Proven ability to direct technological change
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent business acumen
