Duties And Responsibilities
Consult with internal Product Analysts, Product Specialists, and other internal clients to help them gain an understanding of clients’ products and to cooperatively build test cases for User Acceptance Testing;
Participate in product rationalization efforts through analysis of product design and review of specification documents and/or product prospectuses. This includes performing full product assessments in order to identify plan code consolidation and system requirements
Identify gaps between client requirements and the SE2 solution and proposing ideas to address these issues; if necessary, consulting with system vendors;
Reviewing calculators provided by the client or creating calculators for validation at the direction of the client
Creating calculators to validate specific values and/or scenarios

Responsible for migration of products and features
Develop and execute test plans for new products and enhancements
Ensure quality of solutions delivered through unit/enhancement testing
Work with Solutions teams in documenting scope, defining gaps and updating implementation estimates
Effectively communicate progress and timelines with project teams and management
Create and maintain change management requests and follow the change management process
Any and all other duties as assigned
Experience Required
5 – 10 years’ work experience in systems or quantitative analysis and business solutions development
Minimum 2-5 years Life Insurance Product development/configuration experience (i.e. Universal life, Variable Universal Life, Indexed Universal Life, Whole Life, Term Life)
Experience in product development or configuration, unit testing and functional testing
Knowledge of database structures
Experience with Life Insurance Policy administrative platforms
Complete understanding of the product life cycle
Good Experience In MS Excel And Functions
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Good in SQL skills
Experience with a version control system
Ability to learn new products quickly and to adapt to changes in delivered services
Basic knowledge of PC, client/server, and network environments
Microsoft PC software experience (i.e., Excel, Word, Access and Project)
Flexible and adaptable to changing market/business conditions
Self-starting, self-motivated, team player who has the ability to work independently as well
Familiarity with project management methods (SDLC, PMI, ITIL, Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Qualifications
Should have Postgraduate degree with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or MBA qualification from reputed institutes
