Responsibilities
- Perform monthly performance attribution of indices/strategies and highlight performance drivers
- Update index pitch book with latest performance numbers as needed
- Help put together quarterly performance updates specific to key clients/funds
- Implement new indices/strategies as well as modify existing strategies based on client request
- Document strategy/index methodology rulebooks
- At a later stage, generate new index/strategy ideas and work with structuring/sales to design/develop them
Skills Required
- Programming proficiency in Python is a must and Java is optional
- Experience in designing systematic strategies, running backtests and data analysis
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple short term projects and be comfortable in a front office environment
- Degree with a quantitative discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science or Physics)
