Responsibilities

This role will require advanced communication skills and the ability to develop strategic on-going customer relationships, gaining trust and respect for the company.

Our Cyber Security Engineers must also possess strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills, enjoy working collaboratively as a team and actively contribute to their peer group as well as our customer account teams.

As a Customer Engineer, you will: 

  • Educate and guide Customers by delivering workshops and webinars.
  • Help customers with their journey to the cloud.
  • Provide the most effective method of service delivery by analyzing trends and common themes across customers.
  • Seek information about the underlying needs of customers.
  • Deliver proactive services such as risk assessments, code reviews, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Participate in Security Incident response activities around detection, inspection, investigation, remediation, recovery & rebuild.
  • Help customers with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Be the technical expert for customer projects and deployments.
  • Mentor other Customer Engineers.
  • Contribute to business goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Seek opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by collaborating with multiple team members.
  • Identify opportunities to articulate business value and grow customer relationships in alignment with Customer Success business priorities and stakeholder management principles.
  • Modify existing intellectual property (IP) or, where applicable, create new content.
  • Build plans that consider potential obstacles and immediate and long-term consequences.
  • Demonstrate expertise in a specific solution, or several products, feature functions, or services.
  • Provide stakeholder assistance throughout deployment to avoid/resolve technical issues.
  • Consistently apply “lessons learned”, model personal accountability & teamwork.
  • Understand customer/partner requirements and can map the adoption and optimization of Microsoft technology solutions accordingly.
  • Gather customer impressions of products and services and integrates this feedback into decision making.
  • Drive and Support innovation focusing on industry solutions and customer business outcomes on the Microsoft platform.
  • Cultivate relationships, credibility, and loyalty with Customers and Partners intentionally by sharing relevant business expertise.

Technical Expertise:

  • Three or more years of full-time professional experience in the Information Security field
  • Experience working in an internal Security Operations Center (SOC) or Managed Security Service (MSS) Collaborate with Security Architecture, Engineering to Operationalize new security controls
  • Have in depth working on security tools such as Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Anti-Virus,
  • Familiarity with attacks and methods to detect suspicious and malicious behavior
  • Basic understanding of vulnerability assessment tools
  • Assists and advises the technical teams on the Cyber security platforms across their full lifecycle
  • Has full people supervisory responsibility for a team of Cyber Security professionals, and contributes to the transformation of the Cyber Security capability, ongoing maintenance and any related security projects to make sure controls are effective
  • Uses best practice knowledge to detect, identify and respond to cyber events, threats, security risks and vulnerabilities with effective management of response plans across the security platform lifecycle
  • Understands transformation needs and supports to transform global security infrastructure management
  • Demonstrates solid communication skills to co-create, promote and enable Cyber Defence best practices across the market
  • Works effectively with colleagues across Technology and in Corporate Security, Audit and Risk.
  • Expertise in using tools like Burpsuite, Kali, Metasploit, Nessus, Fiddler, OWASP etc., for security testing.
  • Network vulnerability assessment and pen test will be added advantage
  • Working Knowledge on Computer Network Defense, Cryptography, Identity Management, Information, Authentication and Authorization etc.
  • Working experience on Azure Sentinel, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender would be a plus.

Experience:

  • 5 years of IT experience, with minimum 3 years of experience in Infrastructure/Cloud Securityrelated profile, experience in designing, delivering or managing information security services, specially with 2-3 years in Azure Security Industry experience.

Any of the below certifications

  • Certification (Any one of the certifications – Minimum)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
    • CISA, CISM, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CCSK, CCSP, CCAK, CIRSC
    • Cloud Security Certification
    • Security Certification – CEH or above
