Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge & practical experience in software testing
• Knowledge/practical experience of Networking Concepts, basic knowledge operating systems
• Experience in end to end testing of system software applications on Windows (Additionally on Linux or Unix operating systems preferred)
• Installation/configuration/administration skills of one or more of Windows, Unix, Linux Operating systems
• Testing: Ability to understand requirements, design test cases using testing techniques. Hands on experience of functional, performance & scale testing
• Automation : Exposure to scripting languages – Python, Perl, Java
• Desirable: Knowledge/ Hands-on experience in Unit testing using Java/ .Net
• Desirable : Exposure to Databases like Oracle, Sybase, Ms-SQL, MySQL, Agile/Scrum model
• Desirable : Exposure to virtualization tools to create testing environment
• Ability to be independent as a Technical Lead for testing above-mentioned areas
• Planning/strategizing/implementing end to end testing of complex solutions

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 6-9 years experience.
