General Duties and Accountabilities
Duties Will Include (but Are Not Limited To)
The position will report to the Associate Director, Academy – Americas within Human Resources. The position will be multi-faceted focusing on the cultural training needs for our digital transformation journey to the cloud.
- Support the defined training strategy, framework, and methodologies of the transformation program.
- Identify existing and potential future roadblocks to program adoption and effectiveness; propose and implement solutions to overcome issues.
- Support coordinated program efforts to migrate to the cloud across our entire business delivering both AWS Native and VMC migrations.
- Participate in management working group meetings with technology teams where we have over 4,000 colleagues including Office of the CTO (OCTO), Product Development, Global IT and Information Security. These meetings encompass providing guidance in defining, creating and organizing training plans that will play a critical part in the development of their team’s relevant competencies.
- Recognize training needs and identify gaps; Develop and implement culture program trainings that reinforces positive behaviours for a successful transformation to the cloud including addressing the removal of fear, adaptability reservations and disparate collaborations.
- Partner with OCTO to understand programs goals, develop trainings that support the overall goals and objectives of the program.
- Construct pulse surveys, check points and analyze training feedback to identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support internal colleagues to develop and promote an overview of the cloud which highlights the cloud business values.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the overall program training; assess current trainings and proposed innovative ways to improve existing ones.
- Monitor, track and report on training engagements through interviews and surveys; develop ways to increase effectiveness.
- Vet and assist with the identification of program trainings from a blended resource pool including but not limited to internally developed, AWS, Pluralsight, LinkedIn Learning and Linux Academy.
- Contribute to the development of long-term role-based growth training paths as it relates to the program and provide input to the dynamic role-based skills matrix.
- Liaison with internal Comms teams to support, communicate and build upon program awareness.
- Build and maintain strong internal partnerships, interface with various functional groups and foster a culture of learning collaborations.
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in human resources, organizational development/ organizational behaviour or related field. Associated experience considered in lieu of education.
- 6-10 years of relevant work experience in a large global company specializing in colleague development with an emphasis in culture training.

- Advanced oral and written communication skills across various organizational levels along with strong cultural awareness aptitudes.
- Ability to manage tight multiple deadlines in a face-paced environment calmly and courteously; willing to adapt to changing situations.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, self-motivation and the ability to work on a global dynamic team.
- Knowledge of Workday and reporting dashboards such as Power BI is highly beneficial.
- Prior use of the ADKAR model highly beneficial.
