Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Intern, with the Linux Technology Center in IBM India Systems Development Lab, you will be part of a team of Linux kernel engineers designing, developing and testing cutting edge Operating System innovations and tools for IBM Power System servers that go into building large Enterprise servers and supercomputers. You will learn about IBM Power architecture, System internals, Linux kernel internals, Linux Test automation frameworks and understand and contribute to the Open source community ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the Linux features and validate the functionality/performance on IBM Power architecture servers.
- Develop tools and test cases improving automation capabilities for achieving efficiency and quality goals.
- Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies like Docker containers, Kubernetes, Ansible.
- Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge of Linux internals, Data Structures, and Algorithms, Python scripting.
