Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst you should have good functional knowledge of US Healthcare to perform the BA role.
Some of the key knowledge are as shown below.
- Should have Provider, Payor knowledge
- Should have knowledge on HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid.
- Should have knowledge or understanding of EDI ANSI X12
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Should have knowledge or understanding of different electronic Claims (Ex – 835,837,dental etc)
- Should have knowledge or understanding of Claims intake, Claims Adjudication.
- Should have knowledge or understanding of US Healthcare flow.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Good to have database knowledge but not mandatory.
