Challenge Format for Hypersonix React Native Hiring Challenge: 1 task-based assessment for designing screens for the Hypersonix mobile app in React Native.

Hypersonix is currently looking for React Native Mobile Developer and the requirements are:

  • 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
  • Experience with the following technologies a plus, but not required(React.js, Swift, Angular)
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a the challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both in regards to estimates and to the general process.
  • An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them.
  • Ability to work through new and difficult React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
  • Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications.
  • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • English Skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work as part of a small team to build React Native IOS / Android applications
  • Architect, build and maintain excellent quality React Native applications with clean code.
  • Experience with Expo
  • Implement pixel perfect UI’s that match designs.
  • Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
  • Integrate with third-party API’s.
  • Write unit and integration tests.
  • Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores.
  • Work with native modules when required.
  • Be part of a community of React Native developers that share knowledge and help each other as problems arise.

GUIDELINES

  1. You will be provided with a problem statement for which you have to build a functional front-end design.
  2. Each problem comprises the following:

a. Mandatory feature sets that you should build

b. List of good-to-have features, which are not mandatory but will give you extra marks if built

c. Guidelines to solve the problem

d. Wireframe diagrams

  • We provide you with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code editors respectively. You are required to write code in these editors.

After you have written the code, you can see a preview in the Output tab and fix bugs in the Console tab. Once your code is ready for submission, click Submit.

Note: If you write code in your local IDE, you must copy the code into the respective editors provided by HackerEarth and then submit your design.

  • The submissions are evaluated manually by an expert. The evaluation parameters include the following:

a. Functionality of the code

b. Design aesthetics

c. Usability of the design

The evaluation of submissions can take up to a week’s time.
