Roles and Responsibilities
- Help define and implement within HP corporate design brand, the visual design (VX) strategy, standards, guidelines, and roadmap across multiple products and platforms (Client applications/web/mobile/front panels)
- Deliver visual design assets across businesses and partners
- Align with technology roadmaps.
- Systematize and streamline methods, and deliverables across the team (Vision, strategy, standards, Concepts, Use cases, prototypes, specification documentation, style guides)
- Work collaboratively within an agile product team made up of product managers, engineers, and UX, IX leads to deliver world-class product experiences.
- Deliver Hands on VX work for specific programs.
Requirements
- Candidate should have Bachelors or higher degree in Visual Design or related discipline )i.e. Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Services Design)
- Candidate should have 6-8 years’ experience delivering best in class UI design projects for SW solutions and especially on web services and mobiles applications. Strong visual design skills are needed.
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Axure, and other industry standard tools.
- Working knowledge of web-based and mobile technologies: i.e. CSS, HTML, iOS, Android, Windows.
- Ability to do rapid prototyping is a must. (Coding is a plus)
- Knowledgeable about user-centered design research and methodologies.
- Candidate should have an understanding of business and marketing acumen.
- Must be execution orientated and operationally focused on solving users’ needs
- Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple situations concurrently.
- Must be an innovative problem solver
