- Develop Java and Scala software to enhance the HERE Platform Analytics capabilities
- Contribute to the all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Collaborate with both local and remote development teams across the company
- Work with product owners, software architects and data scientists to translate requirements into acceptance criteria
Who are you?
- Computer Science or other technical degree or relevant work experience
- 2+ years of Java development experience
- 1+ years of Scala and Spark development experience
- 1+ years development experience with JavaScript, HTML and/or CSS
- Familiarity with Apache Livy and SparkMagic
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows OS’s and shell scripting
- Experience with Open Source projects
- Familiarity with statistical data processing
- Effective communication skills and ability to clearly articulate technical issues
- A strong work ethic and sense of accountability
