As Project Leader for our chatbots/Virtual Asstt, you will manage the concurrent development of various bots to address needs of employees in different regions, product and services. You will understand user requirements, scope skills/intents, track development and training of chatbots.

Essential Responsibilities:

Partner with our technology and regional leaders, build user-friendly chatbots/virtual assistants! Channels are the mediums through which we understand our employees needs and serve them. And here is an opportunity to manage the development of chatbots/virtual assistants.

  • Continuously learn the needs of our key personas, existing products and services in People Operations
  • Lead the design and development of multiple chatbots/virtual assistant for People Operations globally
  • Implement a VA architecture that is scalable across multiple products, regions and services offered by People Operations, in partnership with our digital team.
  • Understand services that could be addressed with chatbots and scope the chatbots, in partnership with service delivery leaders
  • Leverage data science teams to understand queries that go into Tier 1 team and identify solutions using chatbot
  • Track development, training and usage of all chatbots used within People Operations
  • Maintain and manage the inventory of skills, intents, utterances, and entities to ensure seamless user interaction
  • Partner with conversation architect/ux lead to ensure consistency of brand & conversational flow across all chatbots
  • Support a successful Workday go-live by developing a VA to support People Leaders, employees and HR team in the transition to Workday
  • As an expert in VA/chatbots, coach other team members and the community of chatbot trainers across people operations
  • Track failure modes of bots, surge in questions and put quick resolutions in place
  • Track metrics for deflection from VA services, quality of conversations, response time and other success criteria for the chatbots
  • Leverage data analytics team to continuously improve chatbot performance and identify areas of expansion into newer intents /utterances / skills
  • Use data and domain knowledge to identify ODA limitations that should be addressed in partnership with Oracle
  • Learn from and share experiences with other companies and within GE.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

 

  • Experience in managing development of chatbot/virtual assistant using agile/scrum methodology
  • Experience/knowledge in YAML, OBotML, Node.JS, JSON
  • Proven experience in partnering with clients (internally or externally) to identify requirements and developing chatbot/virtual assistants
  • Expertise / experience in three or more areas: people operations, chat bot development, conversational interfaces, Machine Learning/NLP, data analytics, Workday
  • Experience implementing or leading products/service for global customers/employees
  • Project/ product management skills
  • Inclusive and Innovative

Desired Characteristics

 

  • Experience in implementing or working with Workday
  • Experience developing chatbots in Oracle Digital Assistant
  • Experience working with Oracle Service Cloud
