- Experienced in configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.
- Experienced with monitor and analyze database performance and ensure effective and efficient utilization of database systems/processes.
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security of databases
- Experience with monitor, analyze, report, and solve correct issues on real time databaseOLTP and batch processing workloads
- Extensive experience with performance tuning, index management and optimization, using DMVs, native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements, provide suggestions, solutions on (I/O bottlenecks, memory pressure, CPU use)
- Experienced in database conceptual, logical, physical database design and development, and enhancement of database objects and systems
- Perform scheduled database maintenance and support release deployment activities
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
· Ability to work in fast paced performance engineering environment
· Works collaboratively with peers in planning and coordination of work activities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
