Innovation and Automation (IA) sits inside Deloitte’s global shared services organization and serves Deloitte’s 10 largest member firms worldwide. The IA team creates user experiences that deliver relevant content and connections, enable the discovery of impactful knowledge and delight users by delivering innovative applications that use emerging technologies.
We are seeking intellectually curious individuals who have a strong background in Python and C#.Net development, are comfortable working in Azure-based environments, and are open to learning new technologies. Within this team environment, you will work with your team members to gather requirements, analyze, plan, build, and test applications. You are expected to have a baseline understanding of web development and associated technologies.
Work you will do:
• Work with the Technical Program Manager to gather and document business/functional requirements and convert it to technical requirements, and create application/solution prototypes
• Design, develop and test solutions using Python stack and deployment on cloud platforms
• Create, enhance, and maintain test automation scripts. Execute functional, application and regression tests, including both positive and negative scenarios.
• Aggressively learn new technologies through self-study and work to develop prototypes and solve technical problems.
• Participate in daily status calls and meetings
• Report status on assigned tasks to your lead
• Assist in explorations of various emerging technologies relevant to the problem space we are working on. Make recommendations on how we can leverage technologies.
• Perform Dev-Ops for our existing products including executing code deployments, metrics, developing deployment templates and scripts as needed.
• Participate in hackathons
Experience : 1yr – 3.5 yrs
Location: Hyderabad/ Bengaluru
Work Timings : 11AM to 8PM
Required Experience
• At least 1 year of web or application development with an emphasis on Python full stack development and Python Web APIs with SQL server
• Master’s degree/bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer applications, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Ability to develop solutions following established technical designs, application development standards and quality processes
• Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or be part of larger engagements.
• Good communication skills including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint and MS Visio). Ability to communicate clearly cross-team (Functional/Development/Testing teams)
• Must be comfortable with researching, self-learning, implementing, and iterating with new solutions of a technical nature.
Skills Required
• Experience with the following Technologies: Python, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with python programming and able to develop web application, desktop applications and automation script using various python packages like Flask, Django, Tkinter, etc.
• Experience of deploying solutions on various cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
• Experience with standard technology development tools like Visual Studio, TFS, Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in Microsoft Azure, and experience with deployment pipelines and code management/deployment processes and procedures would be good to have but not mandatory
• Experience with Data science projects would be good to have but not mandatory
