Job Description of Deloitte Jobs for MHA/B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MSc/M.Tech/MBA of any background:
Experience level: 2 – 6 years (Consultant level)
A QA will be responsible for following activities:
• Testing the application built using different technologies – Java or Salesforce.
• Gain functional and non-function understanding of the application and work independently throughout the QA life cycle.
• Understanding of software development cycle models, specifically Agile / Scrum. Participate on daily scrum call with participants from across geographies.
• Write, review and execute test cases to ensure functional and non-functiona requirements are met.
• Report and track defects in a timely manner during test execution Should be flexible enough to work with progressively elaborating requirements and frequent changes.
• Work independently with minimum guidance to meet the milestone. Explore the latest changes on Automation in the industry and evaluate the implantation
• Ability to spot automation opportunities beyond automation of regression suite. For e.g. automation of integration testing, batch testing, prod readiness checks etc.
Knowledge required:
• At least 2 years of experience in Web application testing is required.
• Experience in Salesforce testing experience in Salesforce integration testing (Web service) Familiar with defect lifecycle experience in defect management tools like Jira (Preferred).
• Familiarity with automation tools e.g. Selenium web driver and REST API testing tools
• Sound knowledge of at least one programming language – Core JAVA or Python (Preferred)
• Understanding of database testing, SQL query.
• Experience creating test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of fundamental quality assurance concepts and best practices is required
• Good understanding of Agile development process and prior experience in generating QA deliverables – test summary report, traceability matrix, detailed validation report (test cases, results and evidences) etc.
Additional preferred skills:
• Experience with AWS cloud platform is preferred.
• Experience in any web UI automation tool is preferred.
• Experience with back end services such as rest API testing is preferred
