What will your job be?
- Analyze, plan, design, develop, implement and maintain the software in a production environment
- Advocate for and apply good technical practices such as continuous integration, test automation, automated infrastructure and observability
- Use test-driven strategies to ensure code quality, and collaborate with the team to ensure feature quality
- Leverage agile methodologies to anticipate and mitigate risks, ensure team health and manage complex tasks
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid and junior level Test Engineers, in sharing knowledge and encouraging professional growth
The Challenges ahead
- Be a vital part of the engineering team, to deliver mission-critical software. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with Product Management, Developers and be a hands-on tester of Medidata’s software applications with Ruby on Rails, relational and non-relational databases, and Cloud Services.
- Be self-motivated and eager to engage in high impact, challenging engineering problems while continuously raising the standard of quality in our products and services in a full solutions-oriented SaaS environment
- Able to troubleshoot and debug microservices using distributed systems tracing, NewRelic or SumoLogic and other APMs, & log aggregating and reporting tools.

- 4-7 years’ Experience with testing tools such as Cucumber or Selenium And API testing (MUST).
- Advanced skills in test design and coverage.
- Experience with API, UI, Database Test automation
