Role & Responsibilities

  • Work across different components of Ledger like Trading/General ledger, Journal rule engine, Static requirements, Reporting, Reconciliation etc.
  • Required to understand Front Office to Back Office system architecture, data flow and feed requirements for Ledger posting. Strong domain on lifecycle of Equity, Fixed Income, FX and OTC products.
  • The BA will work mainly with India BA team and will be required to liaise with relevant User Group i.e. Product Control/Finance Control/GLIC in Japan and will also need to co-ordinate with Finance IT dedicated to this project.
  • The role is very hands-on and requires good analytical skills, understanding of products & accounting knowledge is essential.
  • Immediate deliverables will focus on requirements gathering & documentation, maintaining key project documentation (plans, action logs, RAID logs), analysis of strategic data sources, and management of the regular testing cycles
  • Prior experience in Ledger Implementation projects would be preferred.

  • Strong stakeholder management in order to drive the project forward and ensure milestones are met.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer, able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels from a range of departments, business areas and cultures
  • Confident self-starter who can work under pressure, using their own initiative and with the drive to see tasks through to completion
  • Ability to work to aggressive deadlines.
  • Manage individual and as well as monitor team deliverables across different projects.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with colleagues across multiple regions.
  • Essential to have experience working in an Investment Bank with knowledge of the standard products
  • Competent in Word & Excel.
