Responsibilities include
- Establish the quality assurance strategy for the Bodyguard team in collaboration with Tech Leads
- Test cloud and big data related solutions that protect important and sensitive data across AWS and other cloud platforms
- Develop and automate functional, robustness and performance end-to-end tests for Scalable Cloud deployments
- Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD
- Experience with tools like SonarQube (or similar tools)
- Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with quality assurance guidelines, standards and certification; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk
- Define solutions, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility
- Work closely with Tech Leads to develop deep understanding of our product
Our minimum requirements for this role
- A MS degree in Computer Science / Mathematics or equivalent work experience in a field utilizing the same subject matter
- Track record in developing highly maintainable functional and end-to-end tests for microservices architectures
- Appropriate understanding of Docker Containers, NoSQL DBs, Load Balancers, Message Queues and REST APIs in order to create meaningful end-to-end tests.
- Experience writing end-to-end tests for AWS deployments
- Proficient in CI/CD Pipelines such as Jenkins
- Appropriate understanding of security and encryption such as certificates and message digests in order to develop meaningful tests.
- Capacity to develop modular and maintainable test harnesses
- Strong Python3 skills
- Experience in Security Testing for microservices architectures
- Position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience developing functional and end-to-end tests for microservices architectures
- A passion for quality and an attention to detail
