- TraineeEngineer-I: Full Time course in BE/B. Tech /B.Sc.- Engg (4 Years course) in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering from a AICTE recognized University/ Institution. First class for General, OBC & EWS Candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST/PWD (Person with Disability) candidates.
- ProjectEngineer-I: Full Time course in BE/B. Tech /B.Sc.- Engg (4 Years course) in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering from a AICTE recognized University/Institution. First class for General, OBC & E W S Candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST/PWD (Person with Disability) candidates. OR Full time course in M.E/M.Tech in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering from a AICTE recognized University/ Institution. First class for General, OBC & E W S Candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST/PWD (Person with Disability) candidates. Candidates with M.E/M.ech are required to possess Aerospace/Aeronautical disciplines only in their BE/B. Tech/B.Sc degree.
Age Limit of BEL Recruitment Drive 2021: 25 Years for Trainee Engineers-I and 28 Years for Project Engineers-I and less as on 01.05.2021. The upper age limit indicated is for candidates belonging to General & E WS Category. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD candidates (having minimum 40% disability, in addition to the relaxation applicable to OBC/SC/ST candidates).
Relaxations: The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC, ST candidates by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years. For candidates belonging to PWD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above
Experience as on 01.05.2021:
For Trainee Engineer- I : Candidates with 0 to 1 Year of post qualification and relevant Industrial experience.
For Project Engineer- I :
- B.E/B.Tech/B.sc (Engg) – Candidates with minimum two years of post qualification and relevant Industrial experience.
- M.E/M.Tech – No post qualification experience required. However the experience in the relevant field is desirable
Selection Process of BEL Recruitment Drive 2021: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria w.r.t. qualification and experience will be allotted weightage as follows:
For Trainee Engineers –I:

For Project Engineers -I:
- Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to percentage of marks as per the guidelines provided by their University.
- Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on marks obtained as indicated above in the ratio of 1:5. Only those candidates shortlisted will be called for the interview.
- Intimation on conducting Video Based Interview’s will be sent to e-mail IDs provided by the candidates. Candidates are required to comply with the instruction indicated therein.
- The results of the final selection will be available on BEL website.
Salary or Pay Scale BEL Recruitment Drive 2021:
For Trainee Engineer- I : An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- per month for the 1st Year of engagement, Rs. 28,000/- per month for the 2 nd year and Rs. 31,000/- per month for the 3rd year respectively.
For Project Engineer- I : An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- per month for the 1st Year of engagement, Rs. 40,000/- per month for the 2 nd year, Rs. 45, 000/- per month for the 3rd year and Rs. 50, 000/- per month for the 4 th year respectively.
Application fee of BEL Recruitment Drive 2021: Rs. 200/- for Trainee Engineer – I and Rs. 500/- for Project Engineer – I. No fees for PWD, SC, ST Category Candidates

- Caste /Tribe/ Community/ Disability/Economic status certificate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS respectively. Candidates claiming reservation under any of the above categories are required to submit the certificate in the prescribed format. The formats of various certificates are provided as link to the advertisement. Candidates belonging to OBC category should produce the certificate issued on or after 01.04.2020 and for EWS certificate issued for the year 2019-20 or 2020-21.
- Post qualification work experience certificate/s from previous / current employer. Where current employment certificate is not produced, the Offer of appointment of current appointment, Employee ID proof and latest pay slip should compulsorily be enclosed to ascertain the years of post qualification experience.
- Candidates working in PSUs/Govt. organizations should compulsorily submit the application through proper channel or produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of the interview.
