We are looking for 3 roles Front-end (React JS), Back End ( Python / Django) & FullStack Developers to work with our dynamic Engineering team in our Chennai & Bengaluru office.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support new features and functionality for a newly-created engineering function at Animaker
- Work cross-functionally with designers and managers to scope out new features, functionality, and technical requirements
- Participating in design meetings, Tech meetings, and code reviews
- Develop self-service chat infrastructure from the ground up to empower our Messaging system to work more efficiently
- Communicate with other teams to figure out the best solutions to the problems
- Propose new approaches and solutions to ensure we future-proof Animaker’s communication channel as we scale up
- Be invariably passionate about performance debugging, benchmarking, building awesome things, and picking up new technologies and skills
The Expectations
- Distributed databases: Knowledge in building own data store for a chat
- Real-time messaging.
- High performance: our API responses are in the 10ms range
- High scalability: knowledge in using sharding, master-master, and master-slave to ensure scalability
- High availability: our entire infrastructure is designed and operated to survive entire data center crashes
- Multi-region: Know how to deploy in different regions.
You have
- Proficiency in Python/Go
- 3+ years as a backend developer
- Experience with high traffic and high-performance applications
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with building HTTP APIs
- Experience managing your own projects and work in a team
Bonus points
- Celery with Redis or RabbitMQ
- New Relic / Opentracing
