Your Responsibilities
- Technically leading the design and implementation of network projects ,using established processes, best practice principles and configuration in a timely and quality manner, which consists of Cisco/Checkpoint/other vendors firewalls or switches.
- Understanding the architectures and designs standards within the customer environment for all network technology areas. Apply these in all new HLD and LLD project designs. Creating design documentation in line with best practice principles and account standards to achieve world class network solutions for ABB IS/IT infrastructure
- Defining technical configuration standards and overall technical management of installations for network technologies.
- Collaborating with global network/InfoSec architects from Global ABB IS organization.
- Providing technical leadership for network integration of cross tower services, and transform high-level network solutions into detailed implementation designs.
- Attending and support different IN ABB locations meetings to provide technical options to address network infrastructure challenges.
- Supporting early engagement activities to scope new project demand and identify high level approach to deliver.
- Creating low level configurations for a variety of Cisco and other common network vendor devices.

Your background
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical, electronics or equivalent.
- Candidate should have in between 15 to 18 years of experience in networking industry.
- Experience in networking, SD WAN, cloud, python, virtualization, ansible industry: IT/computers – software functional area.
- In-depth understanding of networking architectures and protocols is a must.
- Candidate should have knowledge about cloud platform, SaaS product development with enterprise SD-WAN is highly desirable.
- Technical or professional experience related to the design, installation, and maintenance of local and wide area network required.
- Hands-on working knowledge of virtualization in data center/campus/branch environment.
- Being subject matter expert for IS infrastructure which covers LAN, Wireless LAN, firewalls, firewall configurations, switches, network configuration, patch management, data backup solutions including using cloud environment, practical experience in setting up DMZ and trusted network environments, experience in management of different flavors of virtual machines environment.
- Proficiency at the techniques that go into the formulation of architectures, including requirements discovery and analysis, application of abstraction, formulation of solution context, solution alternatives identification and assessment, technology selection, and architectural configuration with the ability to produce well-structured and written documentation (Microsoft Word and Visio).
- Good to have mentioned certificates-Cisco CCIE R&S, CCDE. CCNP Wireless, CCNP Security.
