Nokia is hiring for the role of Principal Developer for Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a software-related discipline & Master’s degree in a related field is an added plus in Bengaluru, India. Candidate should have 9+ years of relevant software engineering experience in telco-grade products & 6+ years of system test experience with high-traffic, large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures incl products like DRA, HSS, PCRF, etc. in performance and robustness, life cycle management, serviceability, functional tests & Expert Programmer with 9+ years using Go / Java / C++ and related Tools in Linux environment. Requirements

  • 9+ years of relevant software engineering experience in telco grade products
  • 6+ years of system test experience with high-traffic, large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures incl products like DRA, HSS, PCRF, etc. in performance and robustness, life cycle management, serviceability, functional tests
  • Good working knowledge in VOLTE/IMS, DRA, SCP, BSF, SEPP in 4G/5G core technologies
  • Prior experience in interfacing with customers & customer teams in understanding their deployments and use cases in the areas of Performance, Serviceability
  • Good working knowledge on Diameter/HTTP2 signalling domain, JSON, RestAPI, SCTP, TCP with core products e.g. Load Balancers, DRA, SLF, HSS, UDM, AUSF
  • Good working experience in Linux, Kubernetes, VMWare, OpenStack and working with CSF Assets & Blueprints like BVNF/BCMT/BELK
  • In depth and working experience with cloud-ready, cloud-native, micro services and containers architecture, Devops, CI/CD
  • Working knowledge on NMS like NetAct, COM, ECOMP
  • Demonstrated expertise with scripting, XML, tracing tools (Wireshark, tShark etc) and automation framework like Robot, Cucumber, Diameter Simulators like Seagull, JMeter etc. & HTTP2 simulators like Vegeta etc
  • Working knowledge on the toolsets like Jira, Jenkins or Bamboo
  • Able to bring in innovative practices for chaotic programmable performance tests like Chaos Monkey, Janitor Monkey etc
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline. A Master’s degree in a related field is an added plus
  • Candidates with prior development experience and knowledge would have an added advantage
